Another busy week at the jail,
Studies going well with thirteen guys, Had one released on thursday and is back in the thick of it, so to speak. Please pray for him as he struggles with a wife that wants a divorce and difficult parents that don't seem to be much for encouragement. This new brother in Christ in a very dangerous and unstable time as he steps back into his life to be a new creation but has the same old ruts in his road that will try to pull him back in. Again, please pray for him, I'll call him "R" to protect him in this fragile time as it looks like he'll be getting involved with some of you who are reading this.
We desperately need help with finances. We have about $600 wrapped up in resources this month but about $300 of that should cover our bible expenses for the next few months as alot of the guys will be with me for some time.
A huge thank you for the $40 donation from one individual this week. This brings our total donations for the year to $160. Pretty amazing how God has stretched that to cover our budget of about $300 per month for the last 9 months. My credit card company must have received a memo that I have apparently missed. Praise God. I'll just be quiet and trust in him.
With our budget growing as fast as the numbers we serve, it's so hard to hold back when you have men requesting to learn about God. I pray continually that we're trusting in him and his desires and not our own.
Thank you God for two bookshelves full of bibles.
Thank you God for "R" and his two girls and his beautiful wife. Please bless their family with your healing and your direction.
So many things and especially people to pray for I can't do them all justice so I'll just focus on the two main ones, "R" and his family, and unfortunately, finances.
Thank you all for your help and participation in this mission.
