With having work and other events get in the way of making it to jail a few times over the past few months, I began to wonder again if it is something I should still be doing. I leaned over to Tammy at the end of services one Sunday and told her I was wondering if God was ready for me to move on to something else and thought I should start praying about it. She agreed and as I turned back to the end of announcements (5 seconds later) one of the men I had been studying with was baptized. We found each other in the lobby and he thanked me over and over for coming to the jail and bringing the study bibles. What an encouragement from an IMMEDIATE answer to prayer.
On Easter Sunday we attended both services at church and then I was off to the jail for 6 hours. I never know how long I'll be there or how many men will want to meet with me. Twenty men met with me that day with 12 of them in groups of 6, 3 groups of 2 and a couple one on one studies. That's about 75% of the total population right now. What an awesome God we serve.
Ran out of bibles and study books, but thank God for birthday money. I have the day off from work today and hope to get online and get some more coming.
The best news for last though, there were two gentlemen that have decided to be baptized. I will be spending the next couple weeks doing what I can to help them transition back to their lives and seek out the support they need to grow in their new lives. What an honor. Please be ready for some calls as I will need everyone's help to come alongside our new brothers in Christ for support.

In Him,
Brian
