Yeah, I'm still alive.
Seems like I always have to start these updates with apologies for not writing sooner. Emailing and "texting" are not apealing to me, guess my atge is showing more and more as the music at church is way too loud and I miss those songs from the 1800's. Well, no excuses, but my hectic life did manage to make the news.
Things at the jail have slowed down a bit with only about 5 guys meeting with me. Over the years it seems to cycle back and forth a bit. I suspect we will be back up to a dozen again in no time.
Unfortunately I am unable to give details on one current story. I guess I can only say that one of the guys I have studied with in the jail ministry has become a nearly daily contact. Please pray for our relationship to find ways to get us both closer to God.
I am preparing for the trip to Jamaica on July 16th. Please pray for everyone involved in the trip as it brings christians together from multiple church families to reach out through Vacation Bible School and construction activities.
Please pray for our Sinner's Anonymous group as we have stopped meeting for a while. Whether He intends it to continue or end, I just pray His answer is clear.
Praise God for my oldest son, our new church family has allowed him to take flight like I never imagined possible. My most effective contribution, as usual, is to get out of His way.
Please pray for my job with the city, as there should be a conclusion next week about my management position. Again, I pray to hear Him clearly.
His love and peace to all.
Brian
