Hello everyone,

Well, right now my life would sound a little like a country song about "my truck done died and I work two jobs but my girl, she makes it all right ". Praise God I was able to find affordable (and hopefully reliable) transportation within a week but then things have gone crazy at work again and I worked 45 hours of overtime. All thanks to Him I was able to survive and still be able to be off on Sunday.
Anyway, enough about me, this month we have Dell and Scott being released and possibly returning to Macomb for college, Darrell was placed in Galesburg and will be meeting with myself and Jeff my dear brother from church that is testing the waters of prison ministry. We are also anticipating a response from another person at the Galesburg prison that has been working through the "Know Your Bible" correspondence program at the church in Burlington. Awesome.
I have truly been blessed through my last visit to the jail as I have come to know a man named Daniel who has come to his senses like the prodigal son. I was even able to talk to his mother who acknowledges that Daniel's circumstances are such a blessing to their entire family as it has brought herself , her husband and their son Daniel to faith in God. They are now baptized members of God's family. How crazy would our world say that is, "My son's in jail and thank God for the awesome things that it has done, I'm so proud of him."
Last week I met with Daniel and his 19 year old cell mate Michael. I can't tell you how great that felt to see Daniel encouraging and ministering to Michael as he faces the reality that he has brought upon himself and caused his family to turn from him. So I guess he's in the field about to come to his senses.
Matthew should be out shortly, and wants to come to church and our lunch group. Please pray for him and all the others.
Love and peace to all.

ps. thanks to all who have supported us with the material things we need to keep this stuff going.
I was tempted to worry again since a dry spell hit us since November. This year we have been blessed with 5 Big Books donated from Des Moines Iowa and $20.00 from a dear brother from Macomb. We're still figuring out the donation from the church in Macomb, it looks like it will be limited to bibles and "Hunger for Healing" books. Again, I can't praise God enough for allowing this mission to keep going by providing my family with the resources and my wife with the ability to manage them to accommodate this mission. Thanks to all and please pray before you commit to helping us in any way.
