Hello everyone,
It's been a busy couple weeks at work and home but all is good. Tammy and I were able to attend a Celebrate Recovery workshop in St. Louis. It was very encouraging to see thart nearly all of the directions that our Sinners Anonymous has chosen were nearly all of the ones that CR attributes their success to. (eating together, importance of anonymity, helping others in jail, keep groups small, etc.....) We were very excited to see that they had developed a curriculum for young children and another for teenagers. We were able to purchase the young childrens curriculum that we hope to go through this summer at one of our churches. We also purchased a visual aid kit for computers and of course some powerpoint presentations. Hopefully I can get with my brother to see if my laptop is able to be fixed so I can use this for the jail ministry also.
Anyway, continue in prayer for Dell and his mother. Dell recently joined in a relationship with God through Christ. All praise and glory to Him. I can't praise Dell's mother enough for standing by, no.... more like lifting up her son in this great time of turmoil in his life. For anyone interested, she has organized a corporate fast to be held every Wednesday from midnight to noon. Dell has another preliminary hearing on the 26th. Looks like I'll be able to get off work to be there.
Love and peace to all,
Brian
